Spanish Comparisons: Más, Menos, and Tan

Spanish comparisons use más que and menos que for difference and tan como for equality. Two high-value irregular forms are mejor and peor, which already mean better and worse.

Build Spanish comparisons with más or menos

Put más or menos before the adjective and que before the second person or thing.

Ana es más alta que Luis.
Ana is taller than Luis.Más alta que compares a greater quality.

Use tan + adjective + como when the quality is equal.
